The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra is excited to launch a new initiative this year designed to help children, adults, and families touched by autism spectrum disorders, sensory sensitivities, and other disabilities experience the Orchestra in an inclusive and welcoming environment. The Symphony will present our first ever sensory-friendly concert at Heinz Hall, entitled “Celebrate Pittsburgh,” on June 27, 2015 at 2:30 PM.
Recognizing the need to serve this audience, the Jack Buncher Foundation has generously issued a $30,000 challenge grant designed to help launch the sensory-friendly initiative. If you make a contribution to support our sensory-friendly initiative by April 30, 2015, the Foundation will match your support dollar for dollar.
