Our Group Sales Guru, Allison Hill, graduated from SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music with a degree in Music Education and Flute performance. After teaching middle school music in Arizona for 4 years, she and husband Adam moved back east to the 'Burgh, and was fortunate enough to begin working for the PSO shortly after. Allison has worked in the Group Sales Department for 5 years, and is the proud mother of a 2 ½ year old daughter named Ella.

Marianne "Can't Refuse a Gig" Haffey specializes in community and senior groups, Parks and Recreation associations and tourism. Like many in the PSO family, Marianne, a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, is an amateur musician (flute/piccolo and vocals), and serves on the boards of 2 local performing arts groups. Interestingly enough, she is also a Speech Language Pathologist with experience in hospital, school and long term care settings.

Coming to us as a recent graduate of Duquesne University, Mary Lopushansky (AKA "the one with the long last name") works with all pre-K through 12th grade groups, and Boy and Girl Scout troops that would like to enjoy a performance at Heinz Hall. Aside from a brief encounter with the violin, Mary does not play a musical instrument, but has always had a love of the arts.

Jara Dorsey, Group Sales Coordinator

Jara "Prima Donna" Dorsey came to the Group Sales Department from Carnegie Mellon University, where she studied voice and opera with Mildred Miller Posvar. She has performed with the PSO's All-Star College Chorus, the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh, and Opera Theater of Pittsburgh. Jara's the one to go to for general questions, order follow up with new and existing clientele, and Puccini arias.
