Chia-Chi Lin Click here for photographs Download Ms. Lin's biography (MS Word) First Violin Chia-Chi Lin joined the Pittsburgh Symphony first violin section in September 1992. Previously she had been with the Honolulu Symphony, beginning with them in 1989 and serving as principal second violin from 1990. A graduate of the Peabody Conservatory, she has been a member of the Galliard String Quartet (1989-92), Annapolis Symphony Orchestra (1987-89), Sinfonia Concertante ensemble (concertmaster, 1988-89), Bach Ensemble of Baltimore (concertmaster, 1988-89) and Maryland Symphony Orchestra (1985-87). She has also participated in the Great Hall Chamber Music series in Maryland (1986-87) and attended the Pacific Music Festival in Sapporo, Japan, Aspen Music Festival and Music Academy of the West.
