Second Violin

Lorien Benet Hart joined the Pittsburgh Symphony as section second violin beginning in the 2002-03 season. She had also performed with the Orchestra during the 2001-02 season. Ms. Hart earned her Master of Music in Violin from the University of Michigan in 1993 and her B.A. in Music from University of California at Berkeley in 1990. Before coming to Pittsburgh she had been Assistant Concertmaster of the Charlotte Symphony, section violin at the Grand Teton Music Festival, Associate Concertmaster of the Windsor (Ontario) Symphony, and Concertmaster of the Battle Creek Symphony Orchestra.
