Tammy Tyburczy is a native of Staten Issland, New York. In 2000, she performed the role of “Laurie” in The Tenderland with the Orchestra of St. Lukes at The Danny Kaye Playhouse. She performed the role of “Teofane” in Ottone, Re di Germania at the Handel Festival in Karls Ruhe, Germany at The Badische Statts Theater. In the summer of 2002, Tammy played the role of “Susanna” in Le Nozze di Figaro at the Aspen Music Festival. In the fall of 2002, Tammy sang the role of “Musetta” in La Boheme with the San Francisco Opera’s Western Opera Theater tour. In the summer of 2004, she performed a series of concerts in Novafeltria, Italy. Tammy has recently entered the Pittsburgh Opera’s Young Artist Program where she will be singing “The Governess” in The Turn of the Screw and “Marzelline” in Fidelio in May 2005.
