Please note: We have postponed the world-premiere of Christopher Theofanidis’ Concerto for Violin, commissioned for Sarah Chang, due to ongoing revisions of the piece by the composer in collaboration with Ms. Chang. The piece was to be performed on this program. Instead, Ms. Chang will perform Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto. The piece will be rescheduled for the 2008-09 season.
