About This Performance

One of the most popular works ever composed, Tchaikovsky’s first Piano Concerto features the recognizable opening theme and expands the sweeping, brilliant essence of Russian Romantic music. And back by popular demand, the concert features delightful music by the Strauss family. Honeck’s first Thanksgiving Strauss concert was so much fun that he has chosen another program of treats and surprises.
