About This Performance

Join Music Director Manfred Honeck and cellist Yo-Yo Ma for a spectacular opening to the PSO's 2013-2014 season! With no fewer than 15 Grammy Awards, The Avery Fisher Prize and The National Medal of Arts to his name, Yo-Yo Ma performs Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme for Cello and Orchestra. Also, hear Dvořák's Carnival Overture and other works of music inspired by fairy tales.
