<description ><![CDATA[for immediate release March 15, 2010 PITTSBURGH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA ANNOUNCES 2009-2010 ORCHESTRA TRAINING PROGRAM FOR AFRICAN AMERICAN MUSICIANS FELLOW Program is Extended From One-Year to Two-Year Term PITTSBURGH &#8211; The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (PSO) announces Chris Davis, bass trombone, as its third Orchestra Training Program for African American Musician (OTPAAM) fellow in a program dedicated to preparing a young African American musician for a career in a professional orchestra. In addition, based on program feedback from previous fellows and PSO musicians, the PSO is altering the time frame of the OTPAAM fellowship from a one-year to a two-year program. The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and the National Repertory Orchestra jointly created the Orchestra Training Program for African American Musicians in 2007.]]></description>
