2017 European Festivals Patron Tour

September 1- September 8, 2017
London & Lucerne

Please join the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra this summer as it tours some of Europe’s most prestigious music festivals.  The Orchestra is organizing a patron tour to coincide with the PSO’s performances and we would love for you to come with us!  We are working with R. Crusoe & Son, a phenomenal travel agent who specializes in working with Orchestra patron tours.  In addition to Pittsburgh Symphony concerts we’ll visit some of London and Lucerne’s most memorable spots:  In London the group will tour Highclere Castle (aka Downton Abbey), the new Tate Modern gallery and join PSO musicians for dinner at Bread Street Kitchen - a Gordon Ramsey gastropub.  Lucerne highlights include a trip to Tribschen, former home of Richard Wagner, now the Wagner Museum and a cable-car ride to the top of Mt. Stanserhorn. The tour will also provide many opportunities to spend time with the musicians of the PSO.

While the patron tour is just to London and Lucerne, the Orchestra will be performing in Wiesbaden, Salzburg, Grafenegg and Bucharest.  We are happy to help you secure tickets to other tour concerts and R. Crusoe is happy to work with you on travel accommodations should you wish to add on other cities.  If you have other friends who might be interested in this experience, feel free to share the information with them or contact us so we can send them a brochure.

We hope that you consider joining us for this very special trip with your Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra!
