Coach & Play is a student musician training program that collaborates with local music teachers to deliver customized enhancements for middle and high school instrumental music ensembles. Open to schools located in Allegheny County that serve grades 6-12, Coach & Play works with teachers to design a series of three in-school sessions with PSO musicians utilizing a variety of coaching formats that best suit the learning goals of their students. Through real-time, individualized feedback, Coach & Play contributes to instrumental and ensemble skill development and cultivates joy and excitement for music making.

Participation in Coach & Play is by application only. Applications for the 2019-20 school year has closed.
