PITTSBURGH, PA—The multi-talented, multi-platinum record selling star Ben Folds returns to Heinz Hall in June for a one-night-only concert with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Known around the world as a musician, composer and record producer, Folds is one of the major music influencers of our time. The highly engaging Folds will appear with the Orchestra at Heinz Hall on June 3, 2020 at 7:30pm.

For more than a decade, Ben Folds has performed with some of the world’s greatest orchestras, including four appearances with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra beginning with a sold-out concert in 2010. He has created a large body of genre-bending music that includes pop albums with Bend Folds Five, multiple albums and numerous collaborative records. His last album was a blend of pop songs and his Concerto for Piano and Orchestra that soared to #1 on both the Billboard classical and classical crossover charts. In addition to solo rock and orchestral touring, Folds is a critically-acclaimed author whose recent memoir, A Dream About Lightning Bugs, debuted as a New York Times Best Seller.
