The Database Administrator (DBA) manages enterprise database systems used by the PSO; the primary database is Tessitura.


Marketing & Sales

Manager of Digital Marketing
This position will manage and implement all digital marketing initiatives and email communications to support the PSO’s goals of strengthening the patron experience, increasing ticket sales, promoting the PSO brand, and sharing the PSO’s mission.

Senior Manager of Marketing Operations
The Senior Manager of Marketing Operations is responsible for managing and implementing all aspects of non-digital marketing for all products and select Heinz Hall Presents and Rental performances.

Subscription / Fundraising Representative
Subscription / Fundraising Representatives will perform outbound calling, contacting subscribers and donors to inform them about PSO’s upcoming 2022-23 season, as well as our charitable outreach programs.


Development Assistant
The Development Assistant provides overall office management for the PSO’s Development Department and serves as the administrative assistant to the Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer.

Prospect Research & Stewardship Coordinator
The Prospect Research and Stewardship Coordinator will be an integral member of the Individual Support team, working to identify and qualify prospective donors as part of the moves management system.

Patron Services

Patron Services Representative
The Patron Services Representative supports the efforts of the Marketing Department by assisting in establishing, cultivating, and promoting relationships with designated Subscribers to further sales and giving efforts of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.


The accountant will be an integral part of the finance team, taking leadership in the audit process and contributing to the establishment and enforcement of the department’s policies and procedures.

Orchestra Operations

Senior Manager of Video Production The Senior Manager of Video Production works collaboratively with all departments within the organization, particularly Artistic Planning, Marketing, and Orchestra Operations to ensure content is produced, captured, streamed and/or broadcast both successfully and efficiently while supporting organizational and artistic priorities.

Vice President of Orchestra Operations The Vice President of Orchestra Operations is responsible for the overall success of orchestra operations, personnel and media production projects. The VP sets operational direction and guides weekly operations.
