What truly makes a pops program great? "…like one song. It should ebb and flow. So I need something hot to wake you up, when you first come in the concert hall, and then I need to bring through all these different emotions."

What draws someone to being a conductor?  For Byron it was being told, “if you think you know everything, then you need to be a conductor!”
